Vision
Developing and empowering Nature Scientists
Students that visit the Centre are empowered and challenged to become Nature Scientists. Through developing as Nature Scientists students are encouraged to develop curious minds in the natural world interacting and taking action to care for the environment.
The Centre uses Place Based pedagogy, in which learning beyond the classroom is central. Centre-based Australian and QCAA curriculum aligned programs provide students with capacity to build an understanding of natural resources, Sustainability, increased Biodiversity and Cultural Awareness. In doing so, the Centre enhances students' understanding of our past, present and future environmental footprints.
