Art as knowledge
NBEEC Centre staff will guide Senior students to undertake a first-hand experience amongst the mangroves along the Tabbil Ban Dhagun Mangrove Boardwalk/Bird Hide track and on the intertidal zone at Nudgee Beach.
Students will be exposed to a range of stimuli, including sights, sounds, smells, textures and things to touch; natural patterns and reflections; cultural and historical perspectives and evidence of human impacts, to assist students in framing a self-directed inquiry question post the immersive experience.
