Environmental change and management
Students will undertake a professional tour of the Port of Brisbane to help them explain how the interactions of people and environmental processes at different scales change the characteristics of places.
After the tour, students will travel to Nudgee Beach where they will collect, represent and compare relevant and reliable geographical data and information. This data will help them to explain the effects of human activity on environments, and the effect of environments on human activity, over time.
Visiting school will have two choices for their data collection: invasive weed species, or microplastics in the sand.
